Breaking: Will The FG Declare June 12 As Public Holiday?

Following the recent declaration of the new Democracy Day by president Muhammadu Buhari, the presidency has however clarified that there will not be a public holiday on June 12, 2018.

The federal government explained that the presidential order states that “June 12 “in FUTURE YEARS will replace May 29th as a National Public Holiday in celebration of Nigeria Democracy Day”.
This, according to the government, means that year 2018 is excluded from the year Democracy Day will be celebrated on June 12.
