Lady arrested for attacking her rival in public in Lagos
A Nigerian lady has been arrested after she attacked her rival in public over alleged betrayal.
Tina Ezekiel and Blessing Amadi got into a fist fight close to their homes at Jakande Estate bus stop, Ejigbo, Lagos. Tina was reportedly angry with Blessing over suspicion that she betrayed her. This led to a disagreement that soon turned violent.

During the fight on May 24, 2018, Tina hit Blessing with a stone and rained blows on her, leaving her with severe injuries. The police later got involved and Tina was arrested and charged to court for attacking Blessing and inflicting serious injury on her.
Police said that the parties knew each other before they became enemies and rivals over what was described by the police as backstabbing by both parties.

Tina was arraigned at Ejigbo Magistrates court and she pleaded not guilty. The prosecutor, Mr. G. Simon did not oppose her bail condition after her counsel made a bail application. Thus, the Presiding Magistrates, Mr. L.K.J. Layeni granted Tina bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum. However, Tina was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition.
The matter was adjourned to July 1, 2018.
