Love Island's Niall sparks concern as friends 'can't get hold of him' after shock exit from the villa

“We just found out when it came on the press," a pal who spoke to the Sun close to Niall’s home in Coventry said.

“We are as shocked as everyone else is. It's a shame as he was doing really well and taking the show by storm.

“He is really popular as he's a lovely boy.”

Another said: “We don't know what's gone on and we haven’t spoken to him so we’re in the dark.”

Speaking after finding out Niall had left, Georgia told the Beach Hut confessional camera that she'd felt they were more mates than romantic items.

"Obviously I was coupled up with him so obviously I came closer to him than most people in here but it wasn't just that. He was actually my friend, my buddy," she says.

With rumours swirling around the real reason behind Niall's shock departure, all Dr Alex could say was that the Islander would not be allowed back in the villa.

"For personal reasons unfortunately he can't continue or come back to the Villa," Alex told the Islanders gathered around him.
